Compassionate Care When You Need It Most
Our newest cancer center brings advanced care closer to you. Beaufort Memorial has long been dedicated to detecting cancer before it has a lifelong impact, and the New River Cancer Center will offer screenings for the most common forms of the disease. We’ve partnered with MUSC Health to provide more treatment options, promising clinical trials and experienced subspecialists to take on even the most complex cancers.
Medical and radiation therapy and our surgical specialists are housed together, ensuring highly coordinated care at every step. You also have access to labs, imaging, infusion and breast health services right on-site, along with education and support, oncology-certified nurses, nutritionists, and your very own nurse navigator and social worker to personally guide you every step of the way.

Side Effects Management
For cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, hair loss can be a constant reminder of the disease. Fortunately, chemotherapy-induced hair loss can now be significantly reduced for many individuals. Beaufort Memorial offers the DigniCap® Scalp Cooling System to patients receiving certain chemotherapy drugs at both the Keyserling Cancer Center and New River Cancer Center. DigniCap can be used by patients receiving chemotherapy to treat solid tumors for breast cancer as well as prostate, ovarian, uterine, lung and other tissues.
Infusion Therapy
Just steps away from our medical and radiation oncologists, our new nine-bay infusion center for patients receiving chemotherapy and other cancer medications features comfortable recliners and a relaxing environment. Our center is staffed by a team of specialty nurses who monitor your health and safety throughout treatment.
